Profit as a green supplier

A growing number of large corporations are greening their supply chains. That can mean sizeable contracts for companies like yours that become green and becomes eligible under the corporations' guidelines. So the first thing you must do is convert your operations to green, not just to qualify as a sustainable supplier, but because that saves you a lot of money in operations! And then, look for a great match for your company, learn what those potential clients are looking for in their green suppliers, and get it done. In the link below, Walmart shows us where they're going with this:

Green investments, green returns

Don't just make money making green things; make money investing what you earn from making things, even if what you sell is not green (though it should be!). Sustainable investing is "in" worldwide, and it includes the expected -- investing in shares of companies making green things -- but it also includes some unexpected buys -- companies that have converted to sustainable operations, banks financing green projects, social entrepreneurship, community lending... there are many options. Need a place to start? Try the hundreds of mutual funds specializing in green investments. Check out their sites and portfolios. Talk to them. And start making your investments green. Taking greenovation to new heights

To give you an idea of the kinds of things being developed as we speak -- or better, the kinds of things YOU can develop going forward -- take a look at this: windows doubling as see-through solar panels. Wow. For high-rises, this is absolutely indispensable, since one of the big problems cities have had is getting their skyscrapers to power themselves with renewables. Since their roofprint is rather small compared to total building space, that has been a tall order. But with innovations such as this, it might come within reach. Which brings us back to you. Any ideas?

Look to adaptation, innovate solutions

Seas will rise six feet this century, devastating the global economy and killing millions by devastating port cities and coastal commercial and financial centers. But you can do something about it and profit the entire way. That something is called ADAPTATION INNOVATION. Come up with solutions that cities and companies can deploy to deal with sea level rise and... well, adapt. And then SCALE those solutions to as wide a geography as you can, because everyone, everywhere will need them.
